This new 27,000 SF branch is part of a part of a $60 million mixed-use redevelopment project that was a joint venture between Carlisle Development Group in Coconut Grove, Biscayne Housing Group, and the YMCA of Greater Miami. The YMCA facilities occupy the base of a pair of affordable housing towers: a 9-story tower for seniors and a 12-story tower for families. The primary venues in the YMCA are a state-of-the-art wellness center and suite of group exercise studios as well as support spaces such as locker rooms and member/welcome areas. A wellness café and lounge is a key feature of the entrance. Also included in the project is a YMCA Preschool center.
